Adult Foster Care Providers - $250 Sign-on Bonus! South Shore, MA
SHARE YOUR HOME, MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Work available throughout Brockton, Stoughton, and surrounding areas.
REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A CAREGIVER INCLUDE:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check, and a Sex Offender background check
Must have a home setting that is cleaned and regularly maintained. Homes must be kept in good repair at all times
Must have a private bedroom available for the Member that includes a closet, and a window
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Being able to devote the appropriate time to provide the needed personal care to the Member which may include supervision or assistance in bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, or toileting.
Assist Members with required medical appointments, and other health related activities.
Assist Members with health care instructions, including medication administration reminders, and promptly arranging for any needed medical care.
Must be willing to keep accurate records, including a Daily Caregiver Log.
AFC Caregivers receive a weekly tax-free stipend, along with monthly room and board for the home that they provide.
