Anodyne is currently seeking a Highly Skilled CNC Machinist for our client, a global contract manufacturer of orthopedic implants, spinal implants, precision instruments and orthopedic cutting tools.
Our client is seeking a CNC Machinist to monitor and control machining quality using tools like control charts and SPC. Support continuous improvement to standardize and reduce waste. Maintain production efficiency, perform setups, and troubleshoot issues.
Job Responsibilities
Read part prints, OCPs, job routers, and TIS for specs and tolerances.
Operate and adjust machines; monitor cycle times, speeds, and feeds.
Inspect parts per control plan/prints using measurement tools.
Ensure proper lubrication and cooling.
Maintain a clean work area per TPM/5S.
Participate in improvement teams (AIT).
Understand CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing.
Support programmers during new product setups; suggest tooling/fixture ideas.
Propose cycle time and quality improvements.
Troubleshoot CNC issues independently.
Requirements
Strong CNC troubleshooting and machining skills.
Perform complete setups with minimal help; give feedback for improvements.
Read and interpret advanced prints, including GD&T and datum structures.
Proven mechanical aptitude (via experience or testing).
Solid math and reading skills for technical documents.
