Hiring Now! Intake Coordinator for a busy Home Medical Equipment Office in Hyannis!
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with possible Saturday overtime 9:00am-1:00pm
Being an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for timely intakes and order creation for items that are prescribed by a physician.
Insurance Experience- Medicare, Medicaid a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving satisfaction with detailed patient notes and providing outstanding customer service.
- Achieving established goals.
- Increasing sales order ticket revenue by having superior product knowledge.
- Take incoming calls from patients, insurance companies, and referral sources. Communicate with patients, families, insurance, doctor’s offices, referral sources, etc. regarding coordination of services.
- Receiving and processing prescription orders from referrals for medical equipment. Performs data entry of patient information into the HME software, sending it to the appropriate department for review.
- All follow up regarding paperwork to physician practices, specialty clinics, respiratory therapists, and other referral sources.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations and guidelines
