Hiring now, for a busy Medical Sterilization Facility. We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and be familiar with clinical and research laboratory settings.
Full Time Monday thru Friday 9-5 Responsibilities:
Responsible for testing biological indicators for routine production and validations.
Perform bioburden testing, routine bioburden monitoring of clean rooms and facility.
Performing client facility bioburden monitoring and writing reports.
Maintaining clean sterile work area, ensuring all lab equipment is calibrated and in good working order. Operating, maintaining, calibrating temperature/humidity sensors.
Setting up validation and requalification studies, putting loads into preconditioning and removing from aeration for sampling after processing documenting/signing all related paperwork correctly.
Analyzing data and writing validation final reports.
Ensuring lab is properly stocked with supplies.
Responsible for but not limited to making pour plates, fallout plates, population testing, gram staining, growth promotion testing and setting up empty chamber studies.
Skills:
Proficiency in math for data analysis
Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
Experience working in clinical or research laboratory environments
Strong understanding of quality control principles
