Hiring Now! We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations and providing high-quality service to our patients.
This position is at a busy Primary Care Office in Plymouth. Monday Thru Friday 8:30am-4:30pm $22-$24 p/h
Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions.
- Coordinate patient referrals and laboratory services as needed.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation.
- Experience in various medical specialties such as eClinicalWorks
- Ability to perform basic coding and billing tasks.
- Skilled in taking accurate vital signs and patient assessments.
