Hiring Now! Front Desk Medical Receptionist for a busy Medical Office in Plymouth!
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours are flexible 9:00am-1:00pm/ 10:00am-2:00pm
Office is closed on Wednesdays.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the phone system
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with patient referrals to specialists or the ER as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Candidate must have experience with EMR and e-clinical.
