Production Associate – Deburr, Blast, Wash & Tumbling Plymouth, MA
We are assisting our client in finding a skilled individual for the Deburr, Blast, Wash & Tumbling (Secondary Areas) role within their Production Control department. This position involves performing secondary processes according to product specifications and participating in continuous improvement activities to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Read part prints, OCPs, and job orders to ensure product specifications are met (dimensions, tolerances, inspection, etc.).
Inspect products using visual inspection equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities using tools like Area Improvement Teams (AIT).
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours and perform manual tasks such as handling objects, tools, and machinery controls.
Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
Specific vision abilities required, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; ability to use microscopes and optical comparators.
Comfort working near mechanical parts and exposure to airborne particles in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and perform basic math functions.
Training & Education:
High school diploma, GED, or 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
