Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Support Clinical Supervisor
Quincy, MA

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an RN Intensive Support Clinical Supervisor! The RN provides direct service supervision in a medically intensive program, designed to meet the needs of a unique and specialized population who have been diagnosed with a developmental delay or intellectual disability and have complex medical needs. The RN assumes overall responsibility of program as lead nurse. Ensures that care is provided in a respectful, dignified, high quality manner and ensures the care provided promotes individual choices.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Implements person centered treatment care plans thoroughly in accordance with medical orders.
  • Responsible for training all skilled nursing care needs of the Individual; including but not limited to, wound care, GT/JT care, trach care and nutritional support.
  • Ensures that ADLs are performed, and assistive devices are in working order and available and ready for use.
  • Performs individualized assessments with any change of status and provides skilled nursing interventions, as indicated.
  • Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the Individual’s care plans.
  • Clinically supervises CNA’s, HHA’s and all nursing staff during designated shift. If training is needed, provides in the moment.
  • Communicates and meets with Case Manager, Social Worker, and health care team as needed. Attends staff meetings.
  • Communicates any change in status of the Individual served to Program Director, Health Care Provider, family and/or guardian, and other outside agencies.
  • Ensures that all documentation meets all regulatory standards and Anodyne policy and procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience working with Individuals with developmental, intellectual disabilities with complex medical needs.
  • Knowledge of DDS Regulations and Quality Enhancement Protocols.
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning modalities.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff.
  • Experience with Medical Data Sheet (MDS).
  • Knowledge of personal computer applications and equipment, including HCSIS.
  • Experience working with people with developmental and/or psychiatric disabilities and medical illnesses and other co-occurring disorders preferred. 
REQUIREMENTS
  • A valid driver’s license must be presented at the time of employment.
  • CPR/First Aid within 2 weeks of hire
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of service required.
 
Salary: $120k-$140k/year
