3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7:00am, Monday-Friday ( Saturdays as needed)
The Mixer is responsible for accurately measuring raw ingredients, following formulas, and adhering to written procedures. He or She is accountable for food safety and product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients according to specified recipes
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper mixing and consistency
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Package and label finished products for shipment or storage
- Maintain accurate records of production data and inventory levels
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating mixing equipment or similar machinery preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating batch sizes
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus
